MANILA, Philippines - Although she admitted that she and
Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero have been going out a lot lately,
actress Heart Evangelista said she is in no rush to enter into a
relationship.
"I'm not really in a rush," Evangelista told Pep.ph, adding that it may take at least six months before she can say that she is ready to have a boyfriend again after her breakup with model-actor Daniel Matsunaga.
“I’m still taking my time. I’m just enjoying. It’s too early,” she said.
Evangelista said she is happy that she and Escudero can talk about a lot of things.
“I hardly talk about my work. We talk about my education, places we’ve been to,
books… We just get along. Whatever he talks about, I can talk about what he’s talking. We can go on and on talking,” she said.
But despite their numerous “meetings” recently, Evangelista clarified that the senator is not courting her.
“No, we go out a lot. A lot... We’re just on a getting-to-know stage before I even think of…even think of getting officially [together],” she explained.
The actress also shrugged off questions if she is willing to be with Escudero despite the fact that he already has kids.
“Parang kawawa naman at napakakitid din naman ng pag-iisip ko if I’ll think about that. I mean, there’s always a second chance in life. But again, I’m not in that stage that I’m going to think about it or I’ll think of marrying him,” she said.
