MANILA, Philippines - Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez will stage a repeat of her 25th silver concert on January 5 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

"Hi guys Ito na sure na sure na #silvertake2 jan 5 na sa moa parin syempre pa I hope to see you guys there," Velasquez tweeted on Thursday.

Last November 16, Velasquez's concert dubbed as "Silver: The 25th Anniversary Concert Special of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid" at the SM Mall of Asia Arena was cut short after she lost her voice because of a viral infection.

Velasquez was emotional as she apologized to the audience and announced that she will be doing a repeat of her concert for free.

"When I get better, I will do the same show for free! I will do this freakin’ show then I will show you how it should be done," she tweeted.

Singer Martin Nievera, a long-time friend of Velasquez, offered a new title for the re-staging of the Songbird's 25th anniversary concert. Both Velasquez and Velasquez's sister-talent manager Cacai Mitra agreed to attach a subtitle to the show's name: "Take 2."

The repeat of Velasquez's silver anniversary concert was first tentatively set on December 8, according to Mitra.

Also on Twitter, Mitra said the exchange of tickets will be from December 1 to December 25.
