MANILA, Philippines – Actress Janelle Manahan, the girlfriend of slain actor Ramgen Revilla, testified at the Paranaque Regional Trial Court Tuesday morning against Ramona Bautista, RJ Bautista and other suspects on Ramgen’s murder case.

Manahan told the judge that she saw a man wearing a mask who is around 5-foot-7 in height who shot her and killed Ramgen.

She also said that she saw RJ allegedly without any concern and a smirk on his face after Ramgen was killed.

Manahan added that Ramgen had told her about their feud as siblings, adding that Ramgen and RJ even got into fist-fights a lot of times.

Manahan also said there have been several attempts on Ramgen's life.

The actress was cross-examined by the counsels of the other accused on her accounts of the crime.

Resty Mendoza, Manahan's legal counsel, said his client had established the conspiracy of Ramgen’s siblings against his client's boyfriend’s life.

However, Ramgen’s mother, Genelyn Magsaysay, said Manahan's testimony only showed that her children are innocent of the crime.

Magsaysay said Manahan merely made assumptions in connection with RJ’s supposed reaction of having no concern about Ramgen's death.

She said Manahan has no evidence that it was her children who were responsible for the crime.

The legal counsels of the accused were also confident that their clients will be acquitted because of Manahan's statements.

Manahan, meanwhile, stressed that she is confident and sure about her testimony and court and that she was not intimidated by the lawyers of the accused.
