Fresh from the success of the movie “Must Be Love,” teen actor Daniel Padilla is now gearing up for his follow-up movie with love team partner Kathryn Bernardo.

This comes after Padilla signed another contract with Star Cinema on Wednesday.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Padilla said he is delighted that ABS-CBN continues to give him big projects.

“Masaya ako. Sino ba namang hindi magiging masaya? Nakakatuwa dahil pumirma na ulit ako. Nung last time, iba pa ang itsura ko noon eh. Nagpapasalamat ako sa Star Cinema. 'Yun na po ang gagawin naming sunod, 'yung follow-up movie naming ni Kathryn,” he said.

Padilla said he feels fortunate that a lot of opportunities are coming his way since he was paired with Bernardo.

Ibabalik naming ang tiwalang iyon,” he promised.

With their fans already anticipating their next big screen team-up, would Padilla rather have a more matured role this time around?

“Hindi. Huwag natin madaliin.

Madami pa tayong araw, panahon,” he said.

Aside from his upcoming movie, he and Bernardo are also slated to star in another primetime series titled “Got to Believe.”

Asked who among the Kapamilya stars he wants to work with, Padilla said: “Hindi naman ako namimili ng artista.
