Vice-President Jejomar Binay has chimed in on the ongoing tiff between comedian Vice Ganda and veteran journalist Jessica Soho.
"Nakakalungkot. Pero mukhang hindi pa nagbabago ang pulitika natin," he told reporters.
Binay gave the reaction after his own daughter, senator-elect Nancy
Binay, became the target of Ganda's ribbing during the senatorial
campaign.
The comedian earlier made a joke about the younger Binay's lack of qualifications in running for senator.] He later endorsed former Akbayan Rep. Risa Hontiveros in the senatorial race.
Binay said she respected Vice's opinion but noted that the comedian had been endorsing their rivals.
Recently, the comedian has come under attack for making jokes about veteran journalist Jessica Soho during his concert at the Araneta Coliseum. He later apologized to Soho for offending her.
