MANILA – “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala” star Sam Milby and former Kapamilya singer Christian Bautista are two of the 27 Asian male celebrities who deserve more airtime, according to a website.
Buzzfeed, which describes itself as “the leading media company for the social age,” included Milby and Bautista in its list of “27 Asian Leading Men Who Deserve More Airtime,” which was published on Thursday (August 15).
Buzzfeed fellow” Matt Ortile, who compiled the list, wrote: “Asian actors don’t often get starring roles in Hollywood, but these guys – American and otherwise – prove they’re leading men too.”
Milby ranked fifth in the list, while Bautista landed in the 21st spot. Topping the list is Daniel Dae Kim, who is best known for his roles in the television shows “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-O.”
Other actors who are part of the “27 Asian Leading Men Who Deserve More Airtime” list include Daniel Henney of the South Korean drama “My Lovely Sam Soon,” James Kyson Lee and Sendhil Ramamurthy of “Heroes,” Taiwanese Godfrey Gao of the upcoming film “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” and Dev Patel of “Slumdog Millionaire.”
