MANILA -- Amid speculations that she is transferring to another network, actress Judy Ann Santos will likely remain an ABS-CBN talent after she reportedly agreed to host the newest Kapamilya game show "Bet On Your Baby."
On Tuesday, ABS-CBNnews.com learned that Santos will renew her contract with ABS-CBN for the upcoming project.
She is also set to do a photo shoot for the new show on Wednesday.
ABS-CBN offered the new project to Santos last month, just as her primetime series "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" was nearing its conclusion.
The series' relatively short run led to speculations that the actress was moving to another network.
In a press conference for the finale of "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," Santos couldn't help but become emotional when asked of her future plans, admitting that she has an offer from another network.
However, Santos stressed at that time that she has not yet made any decision about her next move.
"Hindi ko pa masasagot kasi gusto ko muna magpahinga siguro a couple of weeks. Gusto ko muna ibigay itong peace sa akin. Kasi medyo nawindang din ako for the past few weeks. I think I deserve to just relax and spend time with my kids and husband," Santos told reporters at the time.
"But doors for ABS-CBN will always, always be open. I will never deny the fact that ABS-CBN is my mother network, my mother station," she had said.
