MANILA, Philippines – Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino said it was bittersweet that her drama series, “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” (MLKI), has ended.
Tolentino said she and the rest of the cast are already like a family because of the bond that they have developed while taping the entire series.
“Yung pagsasama naming lahat. ‘Yung gitna ‘yan ‘yung nagkakakilanlan na kayo, nagkakakuwentuhan talagang medyo relax ng konti,” she said.
Tolentino said she will take a short break after MLKI. “Papahinga muna, rest muna. Siyempre ilang months rin kaming nag-work nang mahaba kaya kailangang pahinga muna.”
Meanwhile, the veteran actress said she is not surprised that both her sons, Rap and Renz, have also ventured into the entertainment industry.
Dedicated sila, professional all at the same time, lahat ng katrabaho nila kilala nila ang pangalan,” she added.
Asked about rumors saying that Renz is courting young actress Kim Chiu, Tolentino said, "Hindi daw.
Renz and Chiu previously worked together in an episode of "Your Song."
Tolentino added that she does not mind if her sons would have girlfriends who are not from show business. "Walang problema 'yan. May mga naging girlfriends sila dati na hindi from pinoy showbiz," she said.
