MANILA, Philippines -- Actor Baron Geisler on Tuesday lambasted the
Philippine National Police for not properly investigating his
altercation with a neighbor before taking him to jail.
In an interview on DZMM's "Rated Korina" hosted by Korina Sanchez,
the actor also said his family were not aware that they were cops since
they reported the incident only to the barangay.
Geisler also insisted that he was just defending himself from neighbor Ray dela Rosa.
Geisler said the police should have investigated the case thoroughly.
"Tapos marami 'yung nag-speculate na lasing po ako, nakainom or bigla-bigla na lang akong nagwala na parang baliw na hindi man lang narinig 'yung aking side," Giesler said.
In his interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, Geisler said he was having a bad day when he figured in a scuffle with dela Rosa.
He also admitted for the first time that he has been dealing with bipolar disorder.
Geisler spent at least 14 hours in Quezon City Police District 5 jail after he allegedly slammed a chair into dela Rosa's sari-sari store and punched dela Rosa in front of his three-year-old child, who was allegedly traumatized by the incident.
Right now, Geisler said everything is OK between him and dela Rosa.
