MANILA -- After her controversial "Diamonds" performance early this year, Anne Curtis is donning a high-slit dress anew, this time for the latest ad campaign of a shoe brand she endorses.
In a promotional image released Friday by Primadonna, the 28-year-old actress is seen seated wearing a black dress with a high slit showing the full length of her legs.
Her hair is also styled similarly as in her "Diamonds" performance, which made headlines in February when the dress' "illusion" triggered speculation as to whether Curtis was wearing underwear then.
Inspired by a performance of pop star Rihanna singing the hit, Curtis' birthday number was brought to the Movie Television Ratings and Classification Board (MTRCB) for the actress' supposed "provocative outfit."
Addressing the controversy, Curtis emphasized she was wearing a bodysuit underneath the dress, which gave the illusion that she wasn't wearing anything underneath.
For her new Primadonna look inspired by the "ASAP" number, Curtis on Twitter credited stylist Pam Quinones, make-up artist Robbie Pinera, hair stylist Raymond Santiago and photographer BJ Pascual.
Some followers of Curtis on the micro-blogging site raved about the photo, with some noting its similarity to the actress' February number.
The shoot is part of the shoe brand's 2013 Pre-Holiday campaign.
