MANILA -- Actress Anne Curtis joined thousands of Filipinos in asking businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles to spill the beans and name the "bigger fish" in the "pork barrel" scam.
On the microblogging site Twitter, Curtis told her over 5 million followers: "Now that Napoles has surrendered & is 'safe' from anyone threatening her life, she better squeal on who else was in on this pork barrel scam."
"She OWES us that. #napoles," the actress added.
Napoles surrendered to President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday night, just hours after a P10-million bounty was put up for information leading to her arrest.
Napoles, who is wanted for serious illegal detention of pork barrel scam whistleblower Benhur Luy, gave herself up to President Aquino after which she was turned over to Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas.
In an interview on Thursday, Curtis explained that one must stand up and fight for what is right.
"I felt it was very relevant today to stand up for our nation and for our people. We should take part of what's happening. It's our lives, it's our country," she said.
Currently, Curtis is co-hosting the ABS-CBN noontime program "It's Showtime." She is gearing up for another "Annebisyosa" concert abroad.
