Gretchen Barretto on sister Claudine: “She has caused too much hurt...”

Mga ilang oras na ang nakalipas ngayong Sabado, August 24, mula nang tumbukin ni Gretchen Barretto ang kanyang kapatid na si Claudine sa mga sagot niya sa kanyang mga followers sa Instagram.
Matatandaang nitong mga nakaraang araw, nakipagsagutan si Gretchen sa isang basher na may Instagram handle na @marjoriekabit at sa kanyang mga tugon dito ay patungkol din sa nakababatang kapatid.
Pero sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at nang iba pang press kay Claudine, mas pinili nitong hindi muna sagutin ang mga binitiwang salita ng kapatid.
“WE HAVE DONE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO HELP HER.” 
Sa post ni Gretchen kanina ng litrato kung saan kasama niya ang kanyang mga kaibigan for a "Saturday ramen lunch," may follower siyang sinagot sa mahaba nitong request sa kanya at sa isa pang kapatid na si Marjorie.
Ayon kay @miralou, “@gretchenbarretto, I believe u that Claudine needs mental help. Im her avid fan but I think she has gone overboard…I hope u and Marjorie would take time to help ur sister heal her sickness @claubarretto. Instead of fighting with her, learn to understand and accept that she is not well.
A person w a true heart can learn to forgive and help the ones who are in need even if that person in in denial of her weaknesses and imperfections. Know in ur heart that Claudine needs the help, bear w her and understand, and create the true meaning of a family.”
Kaagad itong sinagot ni Gretchen.
Aniya, “@miralou, we have done everything possible to help her. She has been attacking us & our children for the help we wish to give her. I have been publicly scorned and accused of a liar for helping her. Why don’t we all just pray that she will go seek help. I guess the time has come when everyone just gave up.”
Dagdag pa niya, “She has caused too much hurt that we just have to withdraw from her and her hurtful ways. It’s called self preservation.”
DEGREE OF HURT AND HARM. 
Isa namang umaming sobrang umiidolo kay Claudine ang humingi ng pag-intindi mula kay Gretchen.
Ayon pa kay @kimdindoraganas, “I hope ur understand ur young sister my idol @claubarretto <3<3.”
Tugon ni Gretchen, “It’s easy for you to ask us to understand her. You have no idea the degree of hurt & harm she is causing. We can only pray. It is in the hands of God.”
