MANILA - Judy Ann Santos' primetime series on ABS-CBN, "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," is set to air its last episode tonight (August 23).
Some of the stars of the show took to the microblogging site Twitter to express their emotions about the finale, and to thank viewers and fans for their support.
Connie Reyes, who plays the role of Helena Diomedes, said: "Maraming salamat po sa lahat Ng nanuod Ng #HuwagKaLangMawawala at sa lahat Ng mga tweets nyo! Nakakataba Ng Puso :)."
Tirso Cruz III, who plays Romulus Diomedes. on the other hand, said: "Sa lahat po ng sumubaybay sa HUWAG KA LANG MAWAWALA, Taos pusong pasasalamat sa inyong lahat."
Meanwhile, KC Concepcion, who takes on the role of Alexis Ganzon, said: "Don't miss tmrw's episode. Promise! "@JahjhaFluffy: Tindi ng #HuwagKaLangMawawala! Naawa naman ako kay Alexis."
"Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" tells the story of Anessa Panaligan-Diomedes (Santos), a battered wife who will do everything to protect her child from her abusive husband, Eros Diomedes (Sam Milby).
Also through Twitter, Santos thanked her fans for supporting her show, and asked them to watch the last episode of "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala."
"I and the whole family of (Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala) will always be thankful to all of you... subaybayan nyo po sana kami hanggang sa huli," she said.
On Thursday's episode, Anessa was abducted by Eros, who already found out that his father, Romulus, is gay.
