MANILA -- The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has issued an orange rainfall warning over Metro Manila on Sunday evening.

In its advisory issued at 7:15 p.m., PAGASA said heavy to intense rains will affect Metro Manila within the next three hours.
PAGASA warned that flooding is threatening low-lying areas.
An orange warning means 15 to 30 millimeters of rains are expected in the subsequent hours.

The public is advised to monitor the weather condition.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Calabarzon, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan and Occ. Mindoro will experience monsoon rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
