MANILA, Philippines – Plunder charges were filed before the Ombudsman Monday against Janet Lim-Napoles, alleged mastermind of the P10-billion pork barrel scam, Senate minority leader Juan Ponce Enrile, and Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon Revilla Jr.
The criminal complaints for plunder were filed along with boxes of evidence gathered by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The sworn affidavits of the whistle-blowers, including Napoles’ cousin Benhur Luy who previously testified in a Senate Blue Ribbon hearing, were included in the filed evidence.
