MANILA - There has been a lot of rumors surrounding Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, but the pair seems to have finally gone public with their relationship, after being spotted holding hands during the latter's birthday party on Friday.
While there has been no confirmation from the two as of yet, several photos and videos of them holding hands while performing John Legend's "All of Me" at the party have surfaced online.
Radio host Ogie Diaz shared a photo in his Instagram account of Guidicelli and Geronimo, with their hands locked together, captioned: "Inakbayan si Grachel Castro, pero ka-holding hands naman ni @mateoguidicelli si @justsarahg sa bday ng aktor."
Guidicelli has downplayed his relationship with Geronimo, but admitted that he is "happy" with his current status with the singer. The "Galema" star added that he finds her new hairstyle "sexy and hot."
For her part, Geronimo said that she was flattered by the actor's comments. “Napanood ko 'yung interview [ni Matteo]. Siyempre thank you naman. Okay naman po," she said.
The photos and videos of the two holding hands have since gone viral, with fans expressing their approval of the rumored relationship. On YouTube, aptly named fan account Team Guidicelli uploaded on Saturday a collated video of the pair's performance.
Guidicelli, whose birthday is on March 26, celebrated his 25th birthday on Friday evening. Among the celebrities in attendance were "Mirabella" star Julia Barretto and celebrity couple John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban.
