MANILA – Kris Aquino has again sent netizens abuzz after she posted a picture of her family with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista while having a dinner on Saturday night.
The post came two days after an episode of “KrisTV” showed the actor-turned-politician having a playful moment with the host-actress.
The photo, which also showed President Benigno Aquino III and Aquino’s two sons, was accompanied by three heart emoticons and the caption, “Finally dinner!”
Many of Aquino’s Instagram followers believe this confirms rumors that Bautista is the person who’s making the TV host smile these days.

Aquino has previously admitted that she is currently in love but refused to reveal the identity of her special someone, as she appealed for some privacy.
Although he was linked to a number of celebrities in the past, Bautista has never been married despite his declaration on “Aquino and Abunta Tonight” last February 11 that he’s the marrying type.
“I’m the marrying type. Ewan ko siguro nerbyoso ako or something. If I plunge into it, what will happen? I want to get married, sana soon,” Bautista said.
On the other hand, Aquino's last relationship was with basketball star James Yap. They were married in civil rites in 2005 but this was anulled in February 2013, following allegations of infidelity on Yap's part.
Among Aquino's other previous known partners are actors Robin Padilla, Phillip Salvador and Joey Marquez. More recently, she was romantically linked to actor Daniel Matsunaga and Makati Mayor Junjun Binay.
Aquino, who turned 43 on February 14, has two children -- Josh with Salvador, and Bimby with Yap.
While Aquino and Bautista have yet to talk about the issue, the TV host’s good friend, Boy Abunda, on Sunday appealed to viewers just respect their privacy.
“Parang nangangati akong may sabihin pero ayaw ko. I’d like to invoke my right to silence. Responsibilidad namin, utang na loob namin sabihin sa inyo ang lahat ng nangyayari sa aming buhay pero nais ko pong ibalato kay Herbert at Kris ang katiting na natitirang privacy sa kanilang buhay,” he said.
Abunda, however, did confirm that Aquino is happy right now.
“Kris is happy and love is fluid, ika nga namin ni Kris. Next week abangan natin baka mas marami tayong detalyeng makuha,” he said.
