Corona to confess in his impeachment analyze on May 22

Chair for economic council Chief executive Juan Ponce Enrile and the immunity section on Thursday decided that Primary Rights Renato Corona will take the observe take a position in his impeachment test next Thursday, some four several weeks after the test began. Corona will be the last immunity observe to be provided in the impeachment situation.

Enrile originally instructed the immunity to existing Corona on Thursday, but one of the magistrate's attorneys asked for forgiveness for a longer period.

"While we would like to provide our best ,the amount [of records we have to review] is amazing," said immunity attorney Jose "Judd" Roy III.

Roy also mentioned that senators are planned to carry a caucus on Thursday, but Enrile was adament the caucus will not impact the defense's planning anyway and that Corona's attorneys will have an whole few times to get ready.

Roy was adament that the immunity be permitted to existing Corona on Thursday instead.

"So that you would not think we are one-sided against him, provided. But there will be no more post ponement," Enrile said.

"If we have no observe on Thursday so practically we will continue the proceedings on Thursday at the ask for of the immunity, at which it is the primary the law that will be their observe," Enrile included.

Lead immunity advice Serafin Cuevas thanked Enrile. "We are intensely thankful for the liberality and magnanimity of the trial," he said.

Enrile, however, said he should not thank them because they are "doing this in the attention of the law."

The last immunity witness

According to Cuevas, Corona will be the last observe to be provided by the immunity section.

"Since we have no other observe in relationship with the problem being attended to by this respectable trial and we have foregone to implement other witnesses for other requirements therefore the single and only observe staying will be the participant himself. But chief district attorney Niel Tupas Jr. said they will delay for the statement of Corona before determining whether they will existing rebuttal proof after the immunity indicates their situation.

Senator Francis Pangilinan, meanwhile, recommended that the Chair for economic council perform the test until Saturday. The test is usually performed from Monday to Thursdays from 2 p.m. until 5 or 6 p.m. with regards to the senators and the two sections.

"We are dropping two test times and the following weeks time is already the Thirty first," he said.

Enrile said they will take this up in caucus. "We cannot go beyond this 1 month. We have a heap of legal issues to be mentioned and got rid of," he said.

The Chair for economic council will go on separate on May 8 and will continue time on September 22.
