A scuffle broke out between actor Raymart Santiago and columnist Ramon Tulfo at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 Sunday afternoon. Tulfo was taking footage of Santiago’s wife, actress Claudine Barretto, scolding airline ground crew personnel when Santiago approached him, according to a report on dzBB radio. Santiago and Barretto, along with their children, had arrived in Manila from a trip to Boracay while Tulfo had flown in from Davao, the report said. Both men were separated and taken to different rooms where they gave their statements to airport police. The report said Barretto was complaining to Cebu Pacific staff about her missing luggage when she noticed someone taking a video. Santiago said he approached the man, who turned out to be Tulfo, and asked him why he was taking footage. Santiago said Tulfo punched him. But Tulfo claimed Santiago and some companions ganged up on him, and that he merely fought back. Barretto sustained a bruise in the leg. Tulfo admitted kicking her but said it was unintentional since he was outnumbered at the time.
