Television host and actor Luis Manzano, meanwhile, got a surprise request from the South Korean pop star, who admitted that she is feeling homesick.

In 2004, she finished first runner-up in the reality talent search "Star Circle Quest," earning her a contract with ABS-CBN. Park went on to star in a number of TV and film projects, and eventually became a recording artist.

In 2007, she left for South Korea to pursue a showbiz career there. She is now known as Dara, one of the four members of the popular girl group 2NE1.
