MANILA, Philippines - Actor Rayver Cruz cleared speculations that he
is jealous now that his girlfriend Cristine Reyes is set to do a
television series with actor Gerald Anderson.
In an interview aired on "The Buzz" on Sunday, Cruz stressed that he is excited about Reyes' newest project and leading man.
"Sinabi nga sa akin at excited ako excited ako sa pagsasamahan nilang dalawa," Cruz said.
In recent interview, Anderson also shared that he is thrilled to be paired with a new leading lady for his return to primetime television.
Anderson said he sees nothing wrong in working with Reyes.
In 2010, Cruz was romantically involved with Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo, who Anderson also formally courted for a time.
In August, Geronimo's parents confirmed that Anderson had stopped his efforts to woo their daughter, citing their “rules" which may have discouraged the young actor.
Prior to their aborted romance, the two starred in two films in 2011, "Catch Me, I'm In Love" and "Won't Last A Day Without You."
