MANILA, Philippines – Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas confirmed that actress Kris Aquino will still be part of the movie “Sisteraka,” an official entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

Late last month, Aquino announced via Twitter that she had backed out from the movie, which is a joint production of Star Cinema and Viva Films.

The actress-host cited health problems, saying she “can't possibly work seven days a week and not have all my projects suffer.”

However, Delas Alas, who was supposed to replace Aquino, revealed that the MMFF rules state that an actor/actress cannot back out from a movie entry but its production house can decide to add to the cast.

Delas Alas said this was the reason Star Cinema and Viva Films decided to just put the three of them together in the movie.

Bale tatlo na kami ngayon,” delas Alas explained on "The Buzz" on Sunday.

Delas Alas said she is looking forward to shooting the movie since this will be her first time to work with Vice Ganda and Aquino in a movie.

Asked if she will be concerned about billing, delas Alas honestly said: “Hindi ko alam pero ako, si Boy (Abunda) na bahala doon.

Meanwhile, delas Alas admitted that she is hoping to keep the Box Office Queen title for the third year in a row.

So sana ako pa rin. Mga five years sana ako,” she said.
