Angeline finds biggest joy in providing for family

MANILA, Philippines -- Almost two years since she emerged champion in a singing contest, Angeline Quinto is thrilled to have the means to treat her family to a Christmas celebration out of the country.

"Gusto ko po talaga sana sa Pasko madala ko naman 'yung nanay ko, tatay ko at saka yung kapatid ko sa Hong Kong. Kasi 'di pa sila nakakapunta ng ibang bansa," Quino was quoted as saying by entertainment news site Push.com.ph.

Quinto won the Kapamilya talent search "Star Power" in February 2011.

She has released two studio albums that have both reached platinum status. In addition to topbilling a romantic-comedy film in May this year, Quinto is now reportedly set to co-star with Paulo Avelino and Sam Milby in a new TV series.

Despite her career's leaps since her big win, the Kapamilya star finds her greatest fulfillment in giving back to her family

"Ang sarap sa pakiramdam kasi dati hindi naman naranasan ng pamilya ko 'yan. Kaya masayang-masaya ako na kung ano nakakaya ko, naibibigay ko na po," Quinto said.

For her part, the singer-actress said she's already treated herself to an advanced Christmas gift.

"Nung birthday ko nakabili ako ng bagong van," she said. "Para sa akin, 'yun na regalo ko sa sarili ko nung birthday ko at ngayong Pasko kasi medyo mahal e. So maghahanap pa ba ako ng pang Pasko pa?"
