Ai Ai delas Alas was all smiles during the live telecast of "Pilipinas
Got Talent" on Saturday, despite her reported separation from her
husband.
The 48-year-old comedienne-actress joined fellow judges Kris Aquino
and Freddy Garcia during the first semi-finals performance night of the
reality talent search.
Teased by hosts Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford over her "blooming"
look as she made her entrance, delas Alas quipped, "Thank you po,
siyempre iba na ako ngayon!"
On Friday, delas Alas was reported to have separated from Jed Salang,
a businessman 20 years her junior, whom she married in a civil wedding
in Las Vegas in April.
Addressing the report, delas Alas on Friday took to image-sharing
service Instagram to appeal that she be allowed to keep her silence on
the issue for now.
"Ako na mismo ang magsasabi pag ready na ako emotionally," she said.
The first batch of semi-finalists to perform at the PAGCOR Grand Theater in Paranaque City were: flair tender Chaeremon Basa, mask-change artist Tito Cris Castro, acoustic group MP3 Band, dance crew Symmetry, singer Roel Manlangit, and blacklight dance act Zilent Overload.
The acts to join the competition's grand finals will be announced on Sunday.
