Did Charice file police blotter vs own mom?

Another godfather of Charice has surfaced to confirm that the singer and her mother Raquel Pempengco are not in good terms.

The statements of Charice’s baptismal godfather Robert Alviar Galang Ybera came after the singer’s maternal grandmother Tess Relucio appeared on TV5’s “Ang Latest” last week.

Relucio said the mother and daughter indeed had a confrontation when Mrs. Pempengco went to Cavite to pick up Charice, who allegedly ran away with former “X Factor” finalist Alyssa Quijano.

The confrontation allegedly resulted in Charice physically hurting her own mother.

While he was not present during the said incident, Ybera told entertainment website Pep.ph that it was Mrs. Pempengco herself who told him about what really happened.

“Tinawag lang sa akin ni Raquel iyan, wala ako doon. Ang sabi lang sa akin, nagkapulisan daw sila ni [Charice]. Nagpunta pa raw sila ng police station ng Alfonso, Cavite. Sabi ko, ‘Saan dun? Sa village ba? Sa labas, sa may police station?’ Sabi, ‘Hindi dun. Dun mismo sa bayan.’

“[Sabi ko], ‘Ha? Dumayo pa kayo dun?’ Sabi [ni Raquel], ‘Hiyang-hiya nga ako. At ang daming tao at ang daming pulis na nandun.' [Sabi ko], ‘Naku, hindi maaring lalabas ‘yan Raquel… Sabagay 'yun naman ay liblib na lugar, huwag lamang may magsalita.’ Yun pala, 'nilabas din ni Raquel,” he said.

Ybera added the incident came to a point that a blotter report was filed.

“Ang sabi sa akin ni Raquel, huwag ko na daw pakialaman si Charice… Ang alam ko, may usapan sa police station na wala na silang pakialamang mag-ina. ‘Yun ang pagkaka-ano, si Charice ang humingi ng… parang pina-blotter, na wala na silang pakialaman sa isa’t isa,” he said.

Ybera said this is the reason Mrs. Pempengco is now hands off when asked for comments about the singer.
 
Just recently, Charice made headlines anew when it was reported last May 14 that she allegedly eloped with Quijano, a member of the girl group AKA Jam.

Mrs. Pempengco, however, was quick to defend her daughter as she denied the latest rumor about the singer. She also said one should not jump to conclusions that the girl who took Quijano was indeed Charice.

“Kung ako po ang tatanungin di ko po masasabing tanan 'yun coz we are not sure if it's really Charice who got her... Hangga’t hindi po mismo natin naririnig kay Charice ang totoong pagkatao niya... Para sa akin ‘di po dapat mag-judge dahil sa physical appearance lang,” she said.

Pempengco admitted that it hurts her as a mother when people make fun of Charice because of her latest look.
