Eight years after winning the Ultimate Survivor crown in the second season of the reality talent search “Starstruck”, Ryza Cenon has finally grown up. She is the cover girl of FHM Philippines this month.

The Kapuso actress hails from a conservative family in Nueva Ecija. She is a granddaughter of veteran broadcaster Joe Taruc. Asked if she has her family’s permission to do the cover, the young actress confirms that she has their support.

And ngayon sobrang napaka-supportive nila sa akin,” she smiles.

Revealing her desire to tackle more challenging roles in the future, the charming actress hopes that her decision to pose for the magazine will introduce her to a different genre. Although we might have to do a little more arm twisting to get her to do a nude scene.

Siyempre pag sa screen tinignan nila, malawak na yung imagination nila eh,” says the young actress, revealing her reluctance to go any further.

As for her next leading man, she says she would love to do a movie with John Lloyd Cruz, hopefully before the award-winning actor makes good on his early retirement plans.

“Crush ko siya kasi magaling siyang umarte,” she gushes.

But Ryza, who has played a mistress in a teleserye, assures his feisty girlfriend Angelica Panganiban that she has nothing to fear.
