'Best to say nothing,' says actor
MANILA -- Matteo Guidicelli continued to be evasive in discussing pop star Sarah Geronimo, who is rumored to be his girlfriend, citing their status as celebrities.
The 24-year-old actor was quizzed on the subject in the episode of "Tapatan ni Tunying" aired Thursday, where he also discussed his stint as a "challenge master" in the upcoming reality TV show "The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition: Doubles."
Asked directly whether he and the 25-year-old Geronimo are already a couple, a laughing Guidicelli said, "Huwag na natin tanunging 'yan!"
"We want to protect a lot of things, 'di ba? In work, in the relationship. So it's best to say nothing," he said.
But the "Galema" actor agreed when news anchor Anthony Taberna described Geronimo as kind, down-to-earth, and a good daughter. "Lahat ng gusto mo sa isang babae, nasa kanya," Guidicelli said.
The ABS-CBN star also openly discussed his plans for the future, saying he hopes to settle down in four to six years.
"Gusto ko magkaroon ng asawa before 30. Excited nga ako tumanda, e. I'm excited for what life has to offer. I'm excited to have a family," he said.
