MANILA, Philippines -- The repeat of singer Regine Velasquez's silver
anniversary concert is tentatively set on December 8, according to her
sister Cacai Mitra.
Mitra, however, said they are still waiting for the medical clearance from the doctors.
"There will be a deadline for the claiming of tickets, unclaimed tix
will be open for sale.
Will announce as soon as mag-OK ang doctor ni
ate! If she will be given clearance by her doc and no damage sa vocal
cords nya, then we will re-stage on Dec. 8," Mitra said on microblogging
site Twitter.
Last Friday, Velasquez's concert dubbed as "Silver: The 25th
Annivesary Concert Special of Regine Valesquez-Alcasid" at the SM Mall
of Asia Arena was cut short after she lost her voice because of a viral
infection.
"When I get better, I will do the same show for free! I will do this freakin’ show then I will show you how it should be done," Velasquez tweeted.
Singer Martin Nievera, a long-time friend of Velasquez, offered a new title for the re-staging of the Songbird's 25th anniversary concert. Both Velasquez and Mitra agreed to attach a subtitle to the show's name: "Take 2."
