MANILA – “it’s Showtime” host Billy Crawford remains to be evasive every time he is asked about his failed relationship with singer Nikki Gil.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, Crawford briefly addressed questions about how his vacation in the United States went.
“Just like any other family, bonding kami. Na-miss ko [ang parents ko]. That’s for me to know and that’s for me to feel,” he said.
The singer left for the US right after he broke his silence about his breakup with Gil on “The Buzz.” During the exclusive sit-down interview, Crawford cited his being "lost" as one of the reasons behind the split.
Before he left, he told ABS-CBN News that he does not know when he will be coming back. However, he returned to the country just two weeks after he left.
While saying that his trip to the US was an eye-opener following his separation with the singer, it seems that Crawford is not yet ready to talk about the matter any further.
“I don’t really want to talk about this situation anymore,” he said. “I am very very blessed. It’s just good to be back to my family.”
Asked if he plans to greet Gil who will be celebrating her birthday on Friday, Crawford said: “Not yet. Wala pa eh.”
The former celebrity couple broke up after four years of being together.
