MANILA, Philippines – Singer Angeline Quinto on Sunday admitted that she is currently in love – but it is not with a guy.
“In love po talaga ako ngayon. Ang landi!” she said in a live interview on “The Buzz.”
“Kasi hindi naman po tao ang kinaiin-love-an ko ngayon. Sa totoong
buhay po kasi talgang meron kasing isang bagay na gustong-gusto ko, yung
BMW X5,” she explained.
Quinto said it is the midsize luxury crossover utility vehicle she
was referring to in a series of tweets about being in love, which her
fans mistook to mean either of her “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” co-stars
Sam Milby and Paulo Avelino.
“Kasi ‘yung mga nagaalaga po sa akin dito, ayoko pong isipin nila na
nagiging materialistic na ako. Kasi may pinapagawa pa po akong bahay, di
ba? Kaya sa Twitter ko lang ‘yon nilabas, kasi pangarap ko talaga
mabili 'yung sasakyan na iyon,” she told “The Buzz” co-host Charlene
Gonzales.
Quinto said she isn’t in a hurry to buy the luxury vehicle.
Quinto narrated that she first saw the BMW X5 at the parking lot of the condominium building where she currently resides.
“Every day po 'pag umuuwi ako, lagi kong nakikita sa parking lot. So parang nagpapahiwatig sa akin.
Lagi po talaga. Kaya lagi akong bumababa sa harap niya. Uy, pogi. Gaganyan lang ako sa kanya. Mapupunta ka rin sa akin,” she said.
Meanwhile, Quinto thanked the ABS-CBN management for trusting her abilities to carry her own TV series, as well as the viewers of the show.
“Kahit Konting Pagtingin” airs weekdays before “TV Patrol.”
