MANILA – It was not an easy road to success for Kathryn Bernardo. But
for what it’s worth, the teen actress is grateful that after the long
wait, she is now in a place where she only once dreamed about.
In a live interview with “The Buzz” on Sunday, Bernardo said she will
forever be thankful to ABS-CBN because all her projects were given to
her at the right time.
“Kasi 'yung awkward stage ‘yung nakakatakot. Thankful ako kasi nung
nabigyan ako ng ‘Magkaribal,’ parang nakatawid ako from the bata na
pwede na mag-mature kahit papano. Hindi ko talaga inisip na magiging
ganito,” she said.
Bernardo said it has always been her dream to be an actress.
Just like everyone else, Bernardo said she also endured long lines of auditions in the past.
Pumipila ako sa audience entrance before.
Bernardo advised those who are also aspiring to become an actress to not give up -- just like her.
Ngayon sobrang saya ko,” she said.
